Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We are mainly use it for process visualisation, mind maps and as a collaboration for pitching projects. It closes a significant job of discovery phase and collaborative, simultaneous work on the projects. The scope is stretched from mind maps to prototyping. One of the latest problems was to draw an architecture overview of one of the systems and share with stakeholders.
  • Templates for any occasion
  • Collaborative work (simultaneously multiple users)
  • Presentation of the ideas
  • Scrolling and moving on the board is about counter-intuitive - users need to get used to it
  • Putting a lot of stuff on 1 board can make it messy, but not a problem of the tool
  • Nothing to change tbh
  • Reduced time for setting up templates
  • Reduced complexity
  • Setup a common space with documented prototypes
Easy to implement - just get GO from the Manager/CEO and buy the license only. No complexity here.
We use Miro for cross-linking in Confluence and Jira. It's no-brainer, since it's an easy connection in 2 clicks in Jira Market.
It brought clarity to the company, where to draw and share the concepts/prototypes. Moreover, it helps everyone with cold-start on the project. Especially useful for junior positions, who struggle with cold- starts of the projects. On top of that, we already gathered significant documentation tries and failures there. Since w have people in different locations - it also helps to collaborate more effectively.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Frankly saying, Miro can be adapted to almost every use-case of the company. Starting from prototyping and finishing with roadmaps, planning and even workflow management. In some cases (e.g., for workflow management) some specifically focused tools might do the job better, however, they will provide solutions for only 1 problem, while Miro can close quite significant bunch of problems.
So, would really recommend to everyone.
