Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro frequently as a remote partner for collaborative work. It is easy to understand and use and works especially well with HCD exercises for collaboration.
I have also started using Miro frequently to build out project plans and capture thoughts for myself. While my organization primarily presents and receives information in power point decks, the open space and various tools (stickies, arrows, colors, shapes, etc) in Miro are helpful for me in my early planning. I often tell folks that "I "think" better in Miro".

Pros

  • Easy to move and manipulate
  • Intuitive for new users or infrequent users to participate
  • Allows for asynchronous collaboration

Cons

  • Can be very slow to load for larger boards
  • hard to move stickies in bulk or align and organize
  • it has become harder to search for and find boards
  • Improved productivity
  • improved collaboration
It is fairly easy to integrate. I especially appreciate the ability to add in powerpoint decks and link back to them for updates.
I do wish it were easier to print or display in PDF
very positively. our primary use for it.
I used Mural previously, but my organization went to Miro instead. I found it an easy transition.

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Shared work, asynchronous collaboration, creating workflows, human centered design.
It feels less appropriate when presenting a finished product.
