Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro to develop project plans, track project progress, utilize it in presentations, and map workflows and processes. The business problems it addresses include the need for efficient visual collaboration, project tracking, and clear communication of workflows and processes. The scope of our use case includes project management, presentations, and workflow mapping.
Pros
- Collaboration in real time for workshops
- Project planning and following up project progress
- Visualizing workflows
- Sharing ideas and collecting opinions in meetings
Cons
- Should be possible to add more rigid rules for the workflow of project management and Scrum boards etc
- Can be hard to understand how to copy/paste or import pictures
- Should be possible to add more constraints and rules when using the Miro, as everyone is free to use it just the way the want. This is often a good thing, but sometimes rules could make real time collaborations better.
- Probably up to 30% improved productivity. Reason being many participants in meetings are attending remotely.
- Definately quicker return on initial costs, but hard to quantify at this time.
Miro has made it easier to share and visualize ideas without the need for physical presence. This enhanced our ability to brainstorm, plan, and execute projects efficiently, fostering better collaboration and alignment across the team, which saves both time and money.
We are using both tools in our organization. Pricing and ease of use is very similar.
