Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro to map out current and potential new processes, user story mapping for product management, and ideation boards to gather feedback from multiple parties at once. The core function is to bring alignment on future initiatives and have a complete overview of how they affect both users and internal departments.

Pros

  • Templates
  • Flowcharts
  • Real time collaboration

Cons

  • User experience/navigation
  • Miroverse
  • Colour pickers
  • Efficiency
  • Speed in getting feedback
  • Synergies
It is usually the starting point when we are ideating on new and innovative initiatives, where everyone can easily collaborate on them and put their contribution in so it is taken as part of the process. Besides that, we also use it to communicate ideas between different teams within our org.
FigJam is superior when it comes to ease of use. I find small details like automatic colour choice and changes between text and background to really elevate the overall user experience. However, Miro does have an improved file navigation view which makes it easier to organise and search boards previously used. I find them comparable when it comes to integrations.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

As a product manager, I find Miro is a great tool to document and share findings originating from my work to other team members. Besides this, it plugs really well with other tools used in my day to day work which makes it quite easy to embed in my tool stack.
