Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We previously used Miro but at the moment we use concept board. I do still use Miro personally. We share ideas, keep project boards with plans, photos and notes.

Pros

  • Easy to align objects and create good looking boards
  • Easy to add notes
  • Easy to make diagrams with connection points
  • Mostly fast loading times, even when using large images

Cons

  • The leaders from different notes are confusing and not intuitive
  • It is a fairly low cost investment for companies
  • It was helpful for collaborating online during the pandemic, and has continued to be a good resource to collaborate across offices and even with clients and consultants.
  • Difficult to say exactly what impact this particular tool has had.
It was not rolled out in a cohesive way to the entire company. It would be good to have impactful company liaisons to work with at implementation. To have one or several people dedicated to start using the boards as part of the design process for specific projects and get others on board.
Pretty easy to understand the concept.
This is exactly why these boards are helpful. It also helps collaboration while traveling or out of the office, where you can quickly add notes on you mobile device or even photos, images sketches and other documentation and thoughts.
We are currently using Conceptboard as our primary board platform. It can be confusing with so many different platforms and for the team to know where things are saved and documented. We still want to keep copies or final versions of our documents on our own servers.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Good for project collaboration. Good for showing ideas and sharing with others easily through the web platform. For business use cons would be security concerns, concerns for data mining and access of sensitive client and corporate information.
Stability of the platform is also a concern since it is webbased. If the Miro program would be down for any reason, we would not have access to our work since it is not saved or duplicated on our private servers.
