Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro is a handy tool for our organization. We have developed brand strategy exercises, journey mapping, developing processes, a marketing calendar overview, a project overview and planning timeline, built workflows with other departments, and wireframing. Our business requires lots of collaboration with different departments. We are also moving and advancing quickly with our business initiatives. Miro and the tools provided help us collaborate, allowing everyone to be their driver. We like how easy and flexible the tool is; the templates provided have been handy. The board is large enough for everything to map out with a complete overview on one page.
Pros
- The tools makes it super fun to develop processes and journeys.
- Collaborating with everyone you invite to the board.
- Time stamps, history, and ability to comment.
- Jira integration.
Cons
- Better selection of icons.
- Many team members have difficulty understanding how to adjust the arrows and how they flow.
- Adding comments becomes very convoluted.
- Has helped us tremendously in our journey mapping with different departments and brand strategies.
- When we develop our process mapping, there is no way to export it and implement it to Jira or any subsequent steps other than having it in Miro or downloading it as a file.
- Here are some tips on how to use what we built in Miro to integrate with other office tools (Jira, Hubspot, etc.) rather than having to Google the answer.
Huge impact since our company has become a Hybrid work environment. In other words, 95% of the company works from home with the option of going into the office if they like. The whiteboard allows us to have these meetings and contribute/work together virtually while saving everything we have on the whiteboard.
Miro is much easier to use. There are no layers, and the interface is very flexible. We can create practically anything. If we want to design a mockup of a design, we can in Miro, and it works like a wireframe for us. When we create concepts for our website, we use Miro to mock up how we want it to flow. The other software is good, but there are too many steps, and we would save on our hard drive. Miro allows us to save everything virtually. Although other software also does, it's not as user-friendly for most. The interface and UI in Miro make it fun and attractive to use.
