Using Miro for Interior Design Collaboration
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I work in a creative field,. interior design and I love to use it as a visual white board for a project. It allows teams to share images, play with them review them and add links all in one place.
Pros
- Allows for dragging of images easily
- Adding links has really improved, fan of how an image is added
- Quick and easy to download PDF of a board
Cons
- Ability for easier markup tools ex. Adding a quick checkmark or x or ability to put a bubble around something
- The arrows are a bit fussy to work with right now
- Mastertitle added to board
- It has helped us speed up review process as comments can be left at separate times of the day
- Can be used per project and referencing at any time
I have used it to tag people comments but not sure if they always say it. Probably use it the most for sharing visual imagery and links.
For the interaction and early phase of design development Miro is the best but later on more technical programs need to be used for interior design
PowerPoint can be more involved in work float and can take long then Miro.
InDesign can be helpful to link images that continually get updated. Miro seems the most fluid compared to them
