Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

We use monday.com for organizing our Virtual Events, Social Media Editorial Calendar. We also use monday.com as the database to list all our Contributing Editors along with their Bios, Headshots, External Links, updates of their current status, and more. monday.com is where we also tag our colleagues to take the process forward. It's very convenient, quick, and easy to use. The ability to communicate with each other via the messages and emoji reactions is very helpful.

Pros

  • The ease of organizing complex boards and updates
  • The ease of maintaining a Content or Social Media calendar
  • The diverse filters that can be added as well as the Sort functionality

Cons

  • Nothing really! It suits my working style
  • Saves a lot of time as we collaborate across various time zones and continents
  • Notifications and easy mobile access help keep us in the loop at all times
  • Everyone has access to what they need and it makes communication across departments easier!
I think it's easy to learn, it feels like using a digital notice board. For me, the interface is also clean so that makes readability and navigation user friendly. I love the bold colors to mark the various Labels!
My supervisor had some concern about using a functionality correctly, and monday.com's Customer Service helped her out within 24 hours and the issue was resolved.
We have never faced any downtime or bugs or issues that have slowed us down as a team or company. monday.com is a go-to board (like a big digital white board) with multiple complex features that helps break down the complexities and make it easy for us to remove teams sitting across the world to get their work done!

I think it is suited for collaborative teams or companies. It makes sense where multiple people have roles to play in the same project or process, and this helps keep tab of the timelines, status updates, and people involved, enhancing operational efficiency. In my experience, it is not suited for individuals who work independently or companies where collaboration is not the necessary style of working.
