Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite

NetSuite is being used across the whole organization to track everything from supply to inventory to sales. We also are looking into the CRM features that are offered. NetSuite helps us to manage our Supply Chain, Customers, Inventory and Orders. The customization features allow us to run our business processes any way we wish.

  • Suitescript offers powerful ways to customize
  • Many modules available to a wide variety of business
  • Several bundles available that integrate with other services or add functionality to NetSuite
  • Building reports is difficult and clunky
  • Cannot turn off certain native reports that you may not want users to see
  • Saved search fields are not always available
  • Very difficult to add text search filters to Saved Searches
  • Been able to handle large order volume with lean customer service staff
  • Easy inventory reconciliation with 3PL by use of CSV imports
  • Expensive customizations in hiring NetSuite developers for projects
  • Not a member of any user groups

NetSuite is well suited for a small to midsize company with remote workers. It may be more expensive than other ERP systems that can be run on-prem so if you have centralized locations and servers to run an ERP may not be the best choice. It is well suited if you have some experts to support it. If you are under tight budget constraints then it may not be the right product as licensing and support are expensive, not to mention you will have to reach out to consultants if you don't have a NetSuite admin in-house.
