Overall Satisfaction with NinjaOne

We use NinjaOne as a ticketing solution for our HelpDesk as well as a remote access platform and remote monitoring. We also use the patching and backup functionality.

Pros

  • We are able to create custom scripts to run on a schedule.
  • We can easily sort helpdesk tickets to the appropriate resource.
  • We get alerted for service interruptions or storage issues on our monitored devices.

Cons

  • The patching functionality is not the best, it is unclear if patches went through sometimes.
  • Edit features on tickets!
  • We saved on having to have multiple 3rd party vendors by using NinjaOne's different solutions
  • We save time on writing scripts with built in automations
Yes, we are able to run scripts from NinjaOne to deploy on user's machines. This is a time saver so we don't have to manually remote into multiple machines individually. That has saved us when we need to push out a critical update.
We are using their remote monitoring tools and also utilizing their notification options. We have conditions setup to scan and notify us of anything suspicious. It has really given us a piece of mind.
We have automated a lot of simple software installs with NinjaOne, for example we have Outlook Plugs in that we can push out via a script and confirm if they are installed via the monitor panel. This has saved our HelpDesk a lot of time not only with onboarding and setting up devices, but also with troubleshooting.
We used Auto Task and Datto. We felt that NinjaOne was a more user friendly platform. There was a large training curve for new employees to learn to use Auto Task. We have noticed a shortened training curve for NinjaOne. We really like the layout and the Ninja Academy.

Do you think NinjaOne delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with NinjaOne's feature set?

Yes

Did NinjaOne live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of NinjaOne go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy NinjaOne again?

Yes

I think it is appropriate to use NinjaOne for Medium sized businesses. We feel like it can handle our environment of 300 machines. The ticketing system integrating with devices and monitoring is a plus for us since we don't need another third party integration to connect the two. NinjaOne patching could use improvement but they have built up a lot of other pieces of their infrastructure.
