Overall Satisfaction with NinjaOne
We use NinjaOne for inventory management, patch mangement, and to a very low extent also vulnerability management. It helps us keep an eye on machine having the appropriate security updates from the vendors as well as ensure our client's sites are up and their SSL's are current. It's a great product.
Pros
- Patch Management
- Inventory Management
- SSL Management
- Sharing knowledge via webcasts and emails
Cons
- I'd like to see vulnerabilities map to MITREATTACK or NIST framework.
- Showing compliancy data would be nice (SOC2, etc)
- MDM that isn't an add-on would be great
- It's freed up staff to do other tasks
- It's been great at ensuring customer websites are functional
- It plays a key role in allowing our staff to keep track of hardware health
- It's been amazing at a single pane of glass of patch management
NinjaOne has been instrumental in ensuring that we can easily and quickly track hardware and all related information - also we are able to actively manage hardware and websites. The automations and script abilities makes work even more efficient. We save significant technician time by using NinjaOne.
This is an area that NinjaOne could improve and would prove to be a big differentiator in the market - more granular and detailed vulnerability information that maps onto existing compliance frameworks that are common across the world.
Monitoring SSL's and uptime of customer websites has been a significant use of this automation, but to be honest it's on us as a customer to start using all of the automations more.
NinjaOne is much more modern both in it's "look and feel" but also in it's functionality. Connectwise feels dated and doesn't work as well. It feels more clunky. NinjaOne has more options, less complexity to do more powerful tasks.
