Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Web Experimentation

We use Optimizely Web Experimentation to leverage all on-site experimentation and personalization across multiple brands. We use it to improve conversion and engagement metrics for targeted optimizations and strategic efforts. Additionally, we use Optimizely to answer user experience questions and mitigate risk for major structural changes on our sites and across all of our brands.

  • User friendly UX.
  • Bulk archive ability.
  • Copying experiments between projects.
  • Mitigated risk of 'shipping' poor experiences.
  • Helped optimize experiences to the most high-conversion option.
We are able to add more sites and projects very simply and without requiring external resources.
We use Feature Experimentation and Web Experimentation simultaneously. This allows us multiple options to test features and content fluidly while minimizing performance impact.
Ability to flexibly adjust our approach depending on the tech requirements.
We often use Optimizely to design and implement experiments, but we analyze externally. It is helpful to know that most of our experiments can be found within the same tool, however.
Optimizely has a more robust toolset and is also more affordable.
Well suited for a company with a B2C approach, with enough on-site traffic to reach statistical relevance. Not as appropriate for a B2B company or an industry with excessively long sales cycles or lead times.
