Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Web Experimentation
Currently, we started our first test with Optimizely Web Experimentation by testing whether red or green add to Cart button works best for conversions. Our problem was we had a high bounce rate on our product pages, especially from people coming from Google. Our designers originally had our Add to Cart button as a raspberry color and we are testing if the red is psychology turning off the customer from moving down the funnel.
Pros
- Doesn't slow down site when testing.
- Help with setting up tests for non-developer folks.
- Tracking.
Cons
- It's hard for regular Marketers to set up testing without developer experience.
- We are still running our first test, but so far it has shown that the green button will result in more conversions.
We use the CMS, Experimentation, and PIM. It has been good and looking forward to them being in all one place.
It has been a good experience so far. We are just getting started.
