PagerDuty is being used across the whole organization for major incident response, daily incident management, and operational metrics. We use it to assemble teams during a major incident, escalate to development, capture operational metrics, and reduce noise. We also use it to provide visibility to tech and business leadership.

We have definitely benefited because we haven’t experienced downtime which left us blind to what is occurring in our environment. PagerDuty is always available when we need it.
Integrations like slack and Jira have improved our workflows and allowed us to spin up incidents quicker. As well as document better after the fact.
I have personally run a major incident all from the mobile app on my phone. It worked flawlessly.
We are just beginning to use these metrics. What I like so far is that in a few button clicks I have the data available in a graphical form.
PagerDuty has far more integrations and a much user friendly interface.
