We are a product based company and it is very important of us to know any system downtime and reasons for that downtimes. PagerDuty helps us to monitor our vast infrastructure health timely and sends us notifications if something is fishy or going wrong with our deployed solution on client side and even on our SaaS solutions.

PagerDuty is very reliable and our company totally trust on the services of pager duty. The critical alerts from PagerDuty has helped us to quickly know the incident with all the detailed reporting which has also helped to quickly fix the bug or any other problem with infrastructure as it also helps to reproduce the incident on our development version and then we can fix those issues.
We have mostly used API based custom integrations in our different micro-services and also using the portal for reporting. The email and sms integration is also helping us a lot to know when incident occurred. The pre-build integrations are also helpful and we don't need to do custom solutions for SMS, push notification or email we can quickly just configure and very easy to manage things.
We do have a workflow for many of incident our workflow tries to identify the correct person to be assigned for incident. We have different teams and according to the incident occurred in micro-service we redirect it to certain team that is responsible to take a look at the incident. It also has certain levels to decide when to escalate whom its very useful and manageable.
PagerDuty dashboards and Analytics has helped us a lot to improve the product. For us the speed of execution is very important and even the accuracy of our certain API's to always delivery data quickly. We have dashboards and its very important that it should show data quickly with no lags, with PagerDuty we were able to find some of our bottle necks while the system responding and helped to fix those issue to improve customer experience.
We are using Sentry also for our error reporting but you can say its subset of PagerDuty it doesn't offer that many integrations but do offer error reporting realtime. Grafana also does somewhat reporting tool but still lacks those integrations and very hard for deployment as compared to PagerDuty the incident reporting and integrations are what PagerDuty offers best.
