Overall Satisfaction with PandaDoc

Our team uses PandaDoc to send out proposals in a consistent, branded, and trackable way. All of our project managers across all departments use it. The use of templates allows for easy standardization, helping us to ensure both a consistent and elevated client experience. Plus, being able to track when a client receives, looks at, and signs a proposal is VERY helpful.

  • Being able to add "optional" items as add-ons to our proposals has increased our sales percentages by double digits.
  • Being able to quickly create proposals thanks to templates has allowed more efficiency from our project managers.
  • Being able to track when clients look at proposals has helped minimize awkward "pestering" emails checking in.
The reusable templates make creating 80% of your new proposal super easy and quick! Then it's just a matter of filling in the information that is project-specific. Having many of the "variables" pre-filled out in the project intake form also helps minimize busy work. The eSignatures also make approving estimates and proposals easier on our clients, thus increasing the chances that we will close.
The biggest streamlining we've experienced in using PandaDoc has been the use of mobile-friendly eSignature. This makes the barrier to entry even lower for our clients, who are often checking these emails while working from home on their mobile devices. We have seen an increase in our "time-to-closure" rate, and I feel that is largely due to the ease of the eSignatures.
PandaDoc's use of templates makes creating a professional-looking proposal quick and easy! There are many design options and tools to choose from, and they are all fairly intuitive. It would be nice to see a few more options available, and perhaps even a few third-party widgets would do nicely (native support for Vimeo, Youtube videos, importing layered PS or AI files, etc.).

Based on our team's experience with Proposify, PandaDoc is very comparable and even has similar design elements. However, PandaDoc seems to be a bit more clean and user-friendly in their UX, which does come with its limitations in design. There are pros and cons to both, so I'd say it comes down to team preference.

PandaDoc is great for a small team that needs to have a consistent look and feel to their estimates. Its templates make it easy to design and distribute great-looking proposals as a team. Plus, the email templates and response messages templates are also nice features. While I'm not confident the pricing works for smaller teams, it does seem to fit within the expectations of our 10-20 group team.
