Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

Paycom is used throughout our 21 locations. All our employees clock in and out, request time off, add comments, enroll in health benefits, print check stubs, verify and change personal information thru their individual employee portal. Managers/Supervisors, additionally, use Manager on the go to approve time off and electronic timesheets.
  • Customer service: knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, no wait time, go the extra step to help solve or answer question.
  • Training: free webinars on wide variety of subjects.
  • Constant update/upgrades: improve (shorten) time doing tasks, implemented without any glitches (seamless).
  • Add more custom fields and allow visibility to managers not just administrator.
  • Include in notification emails for custom fields that have expiration dates the following items: employee name, EE ID#, expiration date, Custom SELECT Field Description.
  • Labor Allocation-location of delivery: all the administrator to change the contact name, using a drop down selection with employees/managers names.
  • Add to advance report writer: reports or flexibility to combine several areas together in one report, i.e. Time and attendance, Payroll, Employee and Benefits.
  • Cut payroll processing time from 1 week to 2 days.
  • Cut ACA reporting time from 2 weeks to 2 days.
  • Streamlined the benefits open enrollment from distributing, collecting, and faxing 100+ paper applications to having the employee enroll via the employee portal with minutes.
Paycom's time and attendance is fully automated, which makes it much easier to:
1. Use for employees and managers.
2. Make changes.
3. Add comments.
4. Approve timesheets.

It also has built-in drop-down options, quick tabs with accrual info, calc detail and audit detail, and you can add hours with a few clicks for payroll processing.

Wonderful customer service: no wait time, work in teams not just one designated person, quick answers and fast response time to email requests. Great at emailing reminders on upcoming webinars and reports due for review (i.e. ACA, Open Enrollment). Need to improve notification emails that have to do with custom fields expiration dates. They need to include who the notification is for and for what, not just the date.

Support and Self-Service

  1. ACA reporting and benefits administration has been streamlined.
  2. Work time has been cut down to a few days.
  3. Flexibility in producing or editing reports either pre-prepared or thru report writer (manually thru drop-down menus with a few clicks).
  4. Easy submitting information.
  5. Weekly digital feeds to insurance carrier with changes.
Every single year during health benefits open enrollment. All the EDI specialists keep constant contact, via email, with me regarding every step of the implementation process. Very flexible in working directly with my insurance broker in the setup.
Employees love:
  1. Having their personal information at their fingertips from anywhere.
  2. Ability to make changes to personal information.
  3. Being able to print check stubs and WS-2 forms.
  4. Select their medical benefits.
  5. Adding comments to e-timesheet.
  6. Requesting time off.
  7. Verifying vacation and sick time totals.
