Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Use Paylocity for employee personnel, time clock, payroll, performance, training, survey, ATS, onboarding, data analysis. It helps manager our employee timecard much easier through Time & Labor to process payroll. Moving all paper trail to electronic online files.

Pros

  • Processing payroll is easy with time & labor import
  • Building performance reviews with electronic signatures
  • Provide survey examples

Cons

  • The benefit accrual in Time & Labor disappear from time to time for some of the benefit coding for employees when putting in time off request.
  • The COVID vaccination opening up for employer less than 100 employees.
  • Launching training on specific day and time similar to survey.
  • Positive - Performance helped our employee and managers with annual review during the virtual setting and being able to electronic sign the review
  • Positive - E-Verify through Onboarding where employer does not need to attest the documentation in person especially during COVID
  • Negative - COVID Vaccination process not being provided to employer less than 100 staff and it is hard for gage our employee with COVID status.
The automation is good to have but when it comes to payroll, it is better be safe than sorry.
We use community to post job posting and impressions for annual review. These helps gauge how many staff actually looked at the post.
Paylocity is easier to use the UKG as UKG is for more complex and bigger companies.

Payroll experience and Time & Labor is very easy to process for employee and employer. The customer service is very helpful with basic Paylocity but when it require more technology aspect, they won't be able to answer the question and need to escalate to the team.
