Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
I use Paylocity to process our company's payroll, set up locations, terminate employees, update our GL code setup, and make sure our taxes are set up correctly. I am an administrator for my company with Paylocity, so I have a lot of responsibilities with the platform.
- User friendliness of platform.
- Keeping system current.
- Provide peak articles that are detailed which allows me to not have to always reach out to my account manager.
- Sending out notices when updates are being rolled out so I don't have to remember to go look at the update sheet to know when something is coming.
- Pushing out enhancements more frequently.
- Responses for my tickets.
- The new report layout is a lot more difficult to use than the old layout. i would love to see it go back to the old way.
- Reduce errors in processing our payroll due to the in-depth reports we are ale able to run to audit.
- Improved employee communication throughout the company with the community platform.
- The compensation tool allows for our managers to have more input on the employee's rate increases versus them manually being keyed by our payroll staff.
They have helped our HR department tremendously. We spend less time doing things manually for our managers in the field now that we have been able to automate a lot of things. We had workflows turned on for the position changes, rate increases, and branch transfers, and that would have been a great platform if would have worked as we needed it to. If we get more automated things like that, our company will continue to grow in the right direction.
We get instant feedback from the things that we post in the community. We are able to see their responses in real-time. We are able to communicate to all of our employees and not just the ones that are in positions that allow them to have a company email address. It is also nice to see when employees are communicating amongst themselves for employees at different locations.
I think that Paylocity is definitely doing what it needs to do to stay at the forefront without HR platforms. I have used several HR platforms; I am just unable to think of them all at this time. The fact that Paylocity is real-time makes a huge difference. I wish that HR & Payroll didn't have a 24-hour sync window with Time & Labor for certain things.
