Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for the majority of our HR and payroll needs. We needed a "one-stop shop" for our employees where they could change their payroll information, access their personnel records, and view their performance management. Paylocity provided all of those for us - and more!! We are now using almost all of their available modules and plan to add one or two more to our setup in the next year. As our business continues to grow, Paylocity makes it easy to transition thru every step of that growth!

Paylocity's tools have allowed us to spend time updating some of our current and/or out-of-date policies and also time creating new policies and procedures to make sure we remain in compliance. It has also allowed us to spend more time during new employee onboarding/orientation, getting new hires acclimated to the company, and having them meet with some key points of contact within the company.
Our employee engagement has greatly increased with the introduction of Community, Impressions, and Surveys. We can check in with new employees with a brief survey after their first 30 days to make sure that things are going well and to see if there are any improvements we need to make to our onboarding, orientation, or training processes. This also allows us to see if we need to have a more in-depth conversation with a new employee regarding what they've experienced. Impressions are a quick and easy way for all of our employees to be able to recognize anyone, which has increased how often our employees are getting shout-outs from each other! The community has allowed us to keep all of our employees updated with upcoming events and things going on within the company!

Paylocity has allowed our employees to be more empowered to update their own information in their accounts. From demographics to direct deposit changes, Paylocity has been very user-friendly for our employees, who come from all different levels of technical abilities and knowledge. This platform is well suited for any company that is looking for an all-inclusive HRIS system. We originally started out with just HR and Time & Labor and have now added on all modules except Benefits. We love the Community module the most because it allows us to push notifications and emails out to either everyone or to just specific employees - plus, our employees can give each other shout-outs that everyone can see! The one thing that many of our employee's wish was better is the time of request and balance issues. Oftentimes, if an employee is trying to submit a time off request around the time payroll is being processed, they will receive errors and are unable to submit even though they have plenty of time remaining. Also, several times, PTO balances have not shown accurately and have caused employees to be able to request time that puts them then into the negative.
