Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Paylocity is currently being used for all HR and Payroll purposes. We manage accounts for multiple companies with different FEIN’s and this platform allows us to run reports for all companies and manage skills, education and training. The separate companies are all within the same umbrella, and community allows account managers the ability to
communicate with a widespread group of employees using one media channel. We are also able to utilize various tracking items such as OSHA reporting, incident tracking, benefit deductions, earnings, etc.

We have encountered some issues with schedules and still needing to do manual overrides, however, that is
likely due to us being unfamiliar with the site. Other automated tools like org charts, reporting, OSHA logs, etc. have helped tremendously with saving time andmresources. Recruiting is also very efficient with the texting options and the
ability to push someone from Recruiting to HR & Payroll with ease. We have also saved time with tracking down paperwork and using the electronic features such as online onboarding and workflows.
Community (and groups) are fantastic for engaging employees and sharing important information. This is especially true for us sharing information across multiple FEIN groups. Surveys have also been useful for getting a pulse on employee engagement and satisfaction. It is nice that the survey results are linked to the employee’s profile and they are often
100% customizable. We do not use Premium Videos.
Paylocity has a much better reporting system and LMS. LMS was practically non-existent in the other platform. Community is also a great feature, especially when managing multiple EIN’s in one platform. Online forms, text recruiting, online onboarding and the self-service portal have greatly increased engagement and employees ability to take control of their information in the system.

Well-Suited: Paylocity is great for communicating information to employees, running reports, managing multiple accounts/FEIN’s, tracking skills/trainings/education, and engaging employees.
Less-Appropriate: Our biggest issue is that we are not able to mass update information for all FEIN’s at once
within configurations and instead we have to update each company separately.
