Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

This is our HRIS system used for Benefits, Payroll, Performance. In Benefits, Paylocity is used for record keeping, enrollments, open enrollment, mid-year benefit changes, and communication with Benefits vendors.

Pros

  • Benefits record keeping
  • Benefits enrollments for new hires
  • Benefits reporting

Cons

  • EDI files with vendors
  • I would like more internal control over benefits set up
  • Sometimes adjusting an employee's benefits is difficult
  • Problems with EDI files to vendors is causing a lot of extra time to resolve
  • New hire enrollments are easy for employees to complete - would like to see additional functionality for company-paid benefits
  • Open enrollment reporting was easy and made comparisons quick and simple
Paylocity makes it easy to enroll new hires in their benefits and give them choices in a clear easy format.
We've used the surveys and they were very useful. We don't use Community or Peer Recognition.
Workday is too complicated to set up and is easily implemented with errors that won't be found until used.
UKG is an old platform and can be very clunky to use as an administrator.
ADP has limited functionality for benefits.

Do you think Paylocity delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Paylocity's feature set?

Yes

Did Paylocity live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Paylocity go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Paylocity again?

Yes

Open enrollment worked very well, once it was set up. It's easy for employees to use and approvals by administrator was seamless and efficient. Reporting is good, easy to adjust to meet my needs and quick.

As with all HRIS systems, there are limitations with how things can be set up and adjusted in Benefits. We've had some issues with EOI for voluntary life and quite a few issues with EDI files going to our carriers.
