Paylocity is a great service
Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We currently use a time and labor system that is not Paylocity and it can be difficult to move the information. Other than that, the system is fairly easy to navigate. They take care of our taxation and garnishments and payment of some of our additional deduction payments. I am confident when I contact the customer service, that I am going to be assisted in any questions that employees may have.
Pros
- Customer service
- Ability to generate reports
- Employee participation
- Help/Knowlege base center
Cons
- Quarterly reports
- Tax department can take a long time to rectify issues occasionally
- Garnishment issues can be confusing and may get different answers depending on the rep that you get to speak with
- Data entry time reduced
- Error are easily found and corrected
- Less time for payroll to assist employees for self service
We have the ability to add so much more into our system, but HR has not done this due to staffing issues
Our employees really do not look at the system that way, I have sent information to them. We also have outside vendors that provide these services for us.
It really was not the Flex when we used it, it was cumbersome, and the reporting was a nightmare. Our rep was good if she was in a good mood or if you were lucky enough for her to be busy and get one of her counterparts. When they set up the system, they really did not listen to what we needed and we had to compensate for that for almost 11 years and no one on their end was ever able to make the corrections that we needed!
