Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Presently we are using Paylocity for our HR & Payroll, Time & Labor, FSA/DCA & HRA, and COBRA needs. Paylocity integrates with a lot of our third-party vendors so they make it simple and easy for a seamless transfer of data.

Pros

Cons

  • Because of the many integrations they have, sometimes it may take some time to receive an answer to a question or a resolution to a problem.
  • I don't have any tangible numbers, but Payroll processing takes me 1 hour versus 3+ hours with another vendor. Time is money...
  • Errors are reduced because of the many checks and balances they have within their system. Love it!!
  • Better tracking for our employees and the use of their own online portal
Paylocity has made this process much easier. Everything seems to be at your fingertips. No longer have to look in many portals to obtain the information needed.
The employees really love the ease of Paylocity's portal. We recently started with the FSA & HRA products and love the fact that it is quick and easy to submit a claim and get reimbursement. We had issues with claims submission with our last vendor. Not all of our employees are aware of the Community or Peer Recognition, however, the ones that do use it and think it's fun. I've also used the surveys to get quick responses from employees.
There is no comparison in my book. Granted it has been some time since we used Paychex, but the offerings of Paylocity are so much more.

Paylocity fits the needs that we currently have and seem to be evolving with new products & features. They communicate well with us. I don't have any specific scenarios currently that I can think of.
