Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I was recently hired by a company which was using Paylocity for its payroll. I came from a company which was utilizing ADP. I immediately preferred Paylocity to ADP. I found it user-friendly, ease on the eyes, and well-structured. Within a week on the system, I was well on my way to understanding how the software "thought" and quickly processing payroll changes and weekly payroll.

Pros

Cons

  • create ability to run reports of employee's interests from Community
  • determine who and how many has downloaded the Paylocity app
  • add more than one level of approval for time off requests
  • reduction in payroll processing time
  • weekly reports guard against lost deductions for absent employees
  • Paylocity app allows employees to see their paystubs
  • reports can be uploaded in pdf, xls, cvs which is helpful
I am new to the company but I am working to discover all the facets of Paylocity that can help us run our HR department more smoothly and seemlessly.
Still learning about them but we will be have a Paylocity promo next month to encourage employee downloads of the app so our July open enrollment goes more smoothly. We also want to roll out Community so more employees utilize it to engage with each other.
Learned it in a week. Taught it to my backup three weeks later.
I did not select Paylocity - I was hired on 3 months ago - but I love the program!

Weekly payroll reports, configuring employee groups for access to their team members, T&L Quick view to see which team members have missing punches, Weekly Summary of Hours report for one-stop shopping of hours and days worked per week.
