Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Payroll, pto, time keeping, onboarding, recruiting, performance management / goals

Pros

  • Easy to access general / basic employee data

Cons

  • Inaccurate and confusing time off balances and accruals
  • Customer service rep turnover and helpfulness / knowledge
  • Reporting, even access to basic information all in one report
  • All reports in Excel, and in a usable / sortable format
  • Increased time spent on paid time off errors, inaccuracies, balances; issues with auditors that are calling the data integrity of our HRIS into question
  • Increased time spent on taxes and workers comp insurance; late fees and penalties
  • Way too much time spent on finding reports that contain basic information in a usable format
  • Integrity of HR data and competency called into question because of numerous issues with system
  • Tax Documents incorrect and corrections needing to be generated / cost associated (w-2's)
  • Time off not coming over properly into payroll.
  • Allowing employees to use more pto than they are allowed to use in a given year
If it worked right, theroretically it would save time.
have not used these features; trying to still figure out basic features at this point.
Trusted sales person and broker of all the features that Paylocity supposedly had that they do not. would not have selected Paylocity if the sales person did not deceive us in the capabilities of the system, customer service that would be "provided", etc.

Customer service is atrocious, system does not work as promised in sales pitch, taxes are not done properly for states, implementation team claimed that all state registration and taxes would be managed by Paylocity and that is not the case

Using Paylocity

215 - all employees use Paylocity; used for general user accounts, time keeping, reporting, recruiting, payroll, etc.
I'm not sure what this question is asking. We do not have any employes that support Paylocity. We have approximately three employees that currently work with Paylocity on a fairly consistent basis with requests and questions or needs.

Excellent customer service
Possibly yes, although we are getting to a better place with Paylocity than we used to be so my satisfaction is greater than previous years.

Paylocity Implementation

not well organized, contacts kept changing, employees seemed like they had too much on their plates, not good communication, found that many things sales person told us were untrue.
Change management was a major issue with the implementation

Recent prompt and through response regarding question about addend new pay codes. Was able to get them added quickly and efficiently with the instructions provided by Katie.

Using Paylocity

some reports or functions are hard to know where to find or understand where to find. For reports, hard to know which ones to use; don't understand dynamic reports or creating own reports
