Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Paylocity helps me streamline all aspects of Human Resources. I am a department of one. Having Recruiting, On boarding, Retention, Employee Engagement, Off boarding, Time and Labor, Payroll, etc., all in one place, makes my life easier. For example, from switching to Paylocity, completing payroll takes me 30 minutes compared to 5 hours with my previous provider. Because of Paylocity, I can now focus on the human side of human resources. I am now more available to my employees' needs compared to before.
  • Payroll.
  • Recruiting - templates and offer letters then transitioning to onboarding.
  • Data Insights. Seeing the analytical side of the company helps with our strategic focus.
  • Having a source where clients can network with one another would be a cool feature to see.
  • For the salary comparison feature, if it could be separated from non-profit vs. for profit companies.
  • Reduced time in payroll completion
  • Reduced time clock errors for hourly staff
  • Improved employee engagement
By having automated core processes, I am able to be more available for my employees. I have also been more available to take on more projects, such as developing an inclusivity committee and an employee engagement committee for our company. I have also been able to update our handbook and our safety manual. This would not have been possible if I did not have the automated features from Paylocity.
I have been able to set up various community pages where employees can interact with one another. I also use the community to post company announcements. This is easier for some employees who do not have access to email.

Paylocity is great for any organization looking to streamline their multiple providers/resources. Having each platform work with one another minimizes the amount it takes to do each task. For example, the recruiting feature allows hiring managers to complete template emails for candidates who are moved throughout the application process all the way to the offer letter that can be sent via email. This allows companies to stay consistent with their wording to candidates. Once a candidate accepts the offer, they immediately get transferred to the onboarding feature - which has all their information from the recruiting side.
