My Paylocity experience
Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We have nearly all the modules to automate the employee lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, benefits, performance, compensation, learning, surveys, time & labor, HR & payroll and spending accounts. Paylocity has allowed us to eliminate paper, reach our employee population that doesn’t use email and manage multiple work locations with ease. The app makes adoption by the employees painless.
Pros
- Continued engagements every month with briefs and detailed PEAK (how to) articles
- Product training for all user classifications
- Provides a wide array of digital features, eliminating the need for paper & time consuming administrative tasks.
- Comprehensive canned reports and very user friendly filter and report writer features
Cons
- Recruiting integrations
- Orientation program structure & tracking
- Service from AM/BAM
- Tracking labor hours to determine units manufactured per hour
- Real time metrics through stat insights
- Improved conversion rate & transparency with recruitment
The recruitment module allows for one source of truth versus tracking multiple boards. Managers have sight line into the status of their requisition. Onboarding eliminates paper and the first day “signing fest”. Benefits has a feed to the carriers ensuring timely enrollments, terminations and changes and eliminates human error. Performance management automates alerts avoiding constant email follow up by HR
We are 18 months into our Paylocity journey with my current employer. Not all engagement tools are being utilized todays. However, community has allowed us to reach a portion of our population that was under informed when utilizing email blasts. The app puts the employee profile at their fingertips keeping them well informed. The groups feature has allowed us to tailor our communications.
ADP WFN has a week talent suite and TERRIBLE service. Paychex Flex is clunky and 2x the cost for similar modules. Ceridian Dayforce is built completely different, but requires an HRIS analyst with SQL experience for a successful experience. CD does not provide comprehensive, customizable security roles. CD’s service is subscription based.
