Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity for Recruiting, Onboarding, Timekeeping, and HR and Payroll. It has eliminated a lot of timely paper processes. It has freed up a lot of time for me as an HR Director to do the strategic items my job should be doing. The reporting is much easier and the community tool allows us to communicate with our team members instantly. This has historically been difficult for us since most of our team members do not have work emails.
Pros
- Payroll
- Recruiting
- HRIS
- Onboarding
Cons
- Onboarding ease for applicant
- Include support person throughout implementation
- Maybe let implementation last a little longer
- More time for strategic tasks
- Better workforce visibility
- Better reporting
We have been able to automate our entire hiring process. Online applications, online communication with candidates, online onboarding. The schedules are easy to write and push to team members. We can also easily notify them if the schedule changes. And again it frees up so much time for other strategic work.
It has allowed us to have instant communication with our team members. We can also give them instant recognition for the entire company to see. We are in the process of using the survey feature to set up exit surveys for team members to give us feedback after they have left employment with us.
It is much better and more flexible than SAP. SAP was date driven and that made it difficult to have multiple events occurring at the same time. It has been a long time since I worked with Taleo so I am not sure how its current version would compare with Paylocity.
