Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We’re currently in implementation and will be using it as a one stop HRIS for all our needs from recruitment to onboarding to benefits.

Pros

  • Implementation has been going really well. The weekly touch point calls has been helpful with keeping us on track.
  • Our sales rep was very thorough during our sales process with assessing our needs, answering our questions and ensured we were able to make a well informed decision.
  • Most of our implementation consultants have been very knowledgeable about the system and will seeks answers if they don’t have them readily available.

Cons

  • Communication regarding integration timeline is the main area for improvement. We were told integrations would happen after first payroll which is what we communicated internally. But they actually started as soon as the PADE forms were completed which caused some confusion internally.
  • Having our ATS a part of our HRIS; reduced manual time onboarding new hires because the data automatically flows
  • Reduced time for our executive team completing our annual comp process
Part of our sales pitch to leadership was the automation cost savings including reducing time to fill, reducing manual work of our operations team, increasing communication across our business operations teams. Paylocity has helped us automate the process.
We’re not implementing community and surveys just yet.
We selected Paylocity because of the balance of functionality, service and cost. Current client references were also a main factor in our selection.

Paylocity is a great system to make recruiting, onboarding and managing staff easier. One limitation is the employee statements within the compensation management module. Being able to generate letters for staff without tying it to a comp
plan would be helpful. Also being able to tie more than 2 comp plans to a statement would also be helpful.
