Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

HRIS and Payroll system. Hiring, onboarding, going paperless, electronic I9, learning, evaluations, communication, schedules.

Pros

  • Posting job right to Indeed
  • Easy access for employees to see paychecks and time off balances
  • Employee communication

Cons

  • Customer service.
  • Policy changes. You complete and form and no one reaches out to talk with you about what you want to make sure it is set up correctly.
  • Reduced errors
  • Reduce time
  • Less paper
We went from full paper and having to be in the office to process payroll. I processed payroll here in Chicago at SHRM. There is no way we could have done that before.
Not all our employees have email access. Community allows all employees to see what is happening and how has a birthday or anniversary. Keeps us all connected.

Account Manager is not always available. Sometimes you get someone who doesn’t know what they are doing. Difficult when you have a payroll problem and need to batch in a timely matter.
