Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for our payroll processing, federal and state payroll tax returns and forms, and Time and Labor management. Paylocity has simplified and expanded our payroll and reporting process to a level not previously experienced. Issues with our previous payroll service company left us with poor communication and support and significant problems with taxation. We have been well-trained and supported with Paylocity's products.

Paylocity's reporting tools help reduce manual calculations, saving time and money. The paperless option is convenient, time-saving, and a savings to our Nonprofit organization. The Knowledge base is extremely helpful. The payroll, tax returns, and reporting accuracy are beneficial. The staff is excited about the paperless stubs, time and labor, and the mobile app for their payroll needs.
We have yet to fully engage with these products.
To begin with, Paylocity provides easy instructions, lots of training tools, and an excellent support team. The data entry is easy to use, and the reporting is outstanding. The report function allows options to fit nearly all of our needs. The search engine makes it easy to navigate through the software.
I have processed payroll manually using products such as ADP, Sentric, and Paycor, and Paylocity has towered over these products in terms of accuracy, training, and reporting. I would recommend Paylocity to anyone. As we get closer to using time and labor, I feel confident that Paylocity will provide the same level of excellence as the payroll product.

Our organization was forced into a merger between Sentric & Paycor with two weeks' notice. The transition was difficult, and the support was minimal. The transition to Paylocity was seamless, with training & support that gave us the knowledge to have a seamless transition. The phone training and support were phenomenal. We have had seamless payrolls from January 1st to the present. Also, Paycor made a large error in processing our first payroll with them and did not deduct taxes from employees' checks. This caused a big problem for us. Paylocity's payroll tax process has been accurate every quarter.

Using Paylocity

3 - Payroll management, Supervisor, HR.

Our Finance Assistant manages and processes payroll. Soon, she will be assisting in processing time and labor.

The finance assistant's supervisor reviews payroll entries and manages other functions within the site. The supervisor also implemented the Paylocity product and will be managing time and labor.

The HR specialist uses Paylocity to retrieve information related to HR.

I have been with ADP as well as other payroll companies and I have been more pleased with the Paylocity product than any other.

Evaluating Paylocity and Competitors

Yes - Paycor was the product we replaced. Paycor took over Sentric and provided only two weeks' notice and absolutely no implementation assistance. The number of errors on their part for our first several payrolls was unacceptable. Their customer service was not what I expect in a payroll system.

Since our previous payroll system was so difficult for seasoned payroll professionals, it was imperative that we find a solution that was user friendly.
Absolution NOT! I love Paylocity.

Paylocity Implementation

Implementation staff were knowledgeable, patient and very helpful. I couldn't ask for more assistance with the process and subsequent help needed from the service team. Everyone was so educated and easy to work with.

Yes - First Paylocity uploaded our employee files. Once the data was uploaded, we began the training process and implementation for Payroll, for I believe was about two weeks. After that, there was training for Time & Labor. Extensive time was taken and follow up offered as we moved on.

Yes - My personal sick accrual is not correct, and the response from the support team was that there is a bug in the system. I am awaiting an solution to this issue at this time.
Implementation! The implementation team for both payroll and time and labor were outstanding. They spent several days working with our payroll team until we felt very confident in moving forward with our Paylocity product.
