Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
Paylocity is our go-to solution for most HR functions and employee portals. Paylocity Benefits Enhanced allows for easy benefit enrollment for our employees and benefit management for our HR team. The Performance features enable our managers to document employee progress and performance and reflect on the whole picture when completing reviews. Community and Recognition help us build our culture and allow our employees to lead the way regarding support, friendship, and morale.
Pros
- The Service Support is prompt and works with all departments to answer your questions or solve your issues.
- The Paylocity website and interface is user friendly and easy to learn.
- Our Paylocity sales team listens to what we need and doesn't need to tailor our Paylocity features to meet our exact needs and find us savings in our contract and monthly bill.
Cons
- The automation features in the Learning module could be improved.
- The automatic assignments of surveys and documents could be more versatile and scheduled not only after the completion of Onboarding events but also after other events like termination, position change, launch of a document to sign, etc.
- The Performance Reviews need to have a continuous auto-assign configuration option. It is too messy for our managers to re-assign their annual reviews every year and for every new hire.
- Paylocity increases our HR teams' efficiency and visibility across our department.
- Paylocity reporting and data insights have allowed our HR team to communicate clearly with our leadership team to drive buy-in on initiatives and projects.
We see the potential, and the current capabilities allow for some automation, which saves our team time and back-and-forth email communication. However, there is room for more automation in documents, surveys, reviews, scheduling, and leave tracking.
Our employees love the Recognition badges and posting in the Community. Managers have used Surveys for team engagement and polling, and we've used them in several companywide surveys and live events. It has allowed us to communicate consistently with all our locations, no matter their state.
Paylocity and Gusto have been my best experiences.
