Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

One of my clients uses Paylocity for payroll processing. The client is a small (50-person) non-profit with world-class systems, including Paylocity.

Pros

  • World Class Customer Support.
  • Intuitive Interface.
  • Solid Reporting.
  • Important reminders.

Cons

  • Provide detailed timing of "Run Payroll."
  • Reduced cost through time expenditure.
  • Reduced cost through fewer errors.
Yes they have freed up time taking payroll with a lot of unique stipends from a day to 1-2 hours.
We do not currently use Paylocity to engage the employee community.
I am new to payroll processing; as such, I am unfamiliar with other software alternatives.

I think Paylocity is well suited for the SMB space but seems robust enough to handle the needs of larger organizations. Working with a smaller client, I am unsure of all the features required for enterprise customers.

Using Paylocity

The only thing that kept me from giving it a 10 was the lack of clarity on when the new payroll functionality will be required and the old "Payroll" functionality disappear.
