Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity for our HRIS, timekeeping, payroll, scheduling tools, and building out our TA system. We have many locations with complicated pay types, and Paylocity allows us to customize and build out for each location. It has grown from 200 to 850 employees, with two subcompanies.

- Scheduling tool—ability to be more granular than just Cost Centers/more customization on zones for scheduling.
- PEAK articles for employees, not just admins.
- Better password reset ability (instead of utilizing email, should go to employee's phone).
- Ability to assign multiple supervisors in HR & Payroll.
- Data-driven decision making with access to Data Insights.
- Reduced time when having to do state-specific reports.
- Reduced time for payroll processing.
- Reduced cost per head as have moved up in service tiers.
Our HR/payroll department is tiny, so Paylocity has been instrumental in allowing time to be devoted to necessary objectives instead of complicated payroll processing/timekeeping. Paylocity has allowed us to keep the team small while performing at a high level.
Because we have many different locations and levels of employees with different engagement, the Community tool is an easy way to communicate with all employees. Not all employees have emails in our organization, but everyone has access to Paylocity, and the Community feature has helped bridge some of those gaps.
Paylocity is much simpler and easier to teach and use than any of the other platforms that we have used or evaluated. This is especially helpful when dealing with an industry (pet care) where the majority of our managers/users are not tech-savvy. The reporting and UI is much simpler than many others, and the customization is very helpful. More than anything, Paylocity's customer service is far and away the best.
