Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity as our full-cycle HRIS. We use it for recruitment, payroll, timekeeping, data insights, benefit administration, workflows, document storage, tracking, self service portals for employees. I use it all day in my role and rely on its functionality greatly. We use it across the entire network which spans nationwide.

Paylocity's automation tools have affected our business positively. The automation tools allow our team to focus on the candidate pool over the administration of the documentation and posting process. Using Paylocity as a full-cycle HRIS allows us to streamline activities so we aren't jumping from system to system which frees up time in the day and avoids errors.
Paylocity's employee engagement tools have impacted the business both positively, negatively, and could be improved. The community tool needs a stronger filter. Employees have been able to post inappropriate things. Peer recognition is easy but not well utilized. It would be better if it could be specific to a location and not seen my the entire organization.
Like any system, it takes some time to learn how to use Paylocity but the overall usability is good. It is easy to learn and not cumbersome. Some reporting functions would be easier if they were dynamic reports. It also takes Paylocity too long to make changes based on client requests for system functionality.
I have also used UltiPro, SAP, GQL. Paylocity is a front runner against these other platforms. The ease of learning and use is great. The training module is very helpful to have it on the same platform as all other HR functions. Paylocity meets all the needs of our organization.

Paylocity does a great job providing staff with information on the self service portal. It also make open enrollment easy. Tracking in the recruitment tab is helpful and well used. I would recommend training all customer service reps to a higher degree. Some are way better than others and they should be aware of when to turn their cameras on in a client meeting.
