Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
Paylocity is the most integrated and user-friendly HRIS system I have used. I think the quality that sets them apart is the level at which their modules operate synergistically. I can enter a candidate in Recruiting, complete their background check via Checkr integration, route them to Onboarding with 1-click, direct a hire to complete their new-hire paperwork virtually, and then route them to HR & Payroll as a hired employee in one seamless process.
Pros
- Module Synergy.
- UX/UI Interface.
- Product Updates.
Cons
- Support Escalations.
- Government Reporting.
- Product Updates.
- Reduced errors.
- All-in-one tool.
- Compliance Management.
Paylocity saves us hours of time across core HR processes, including payroll, onboarding, position management, compensation planning, and benefits administration. I don't love the UX of their careers site, so we don't use the recruiting module to its full capacity (we leverage an external ATS). With that in mind, we still save a ton of time using Paylocity.
I find that while the engagement features in Paylocity are a nice-to-have, our team doesn't use them. I think a typical employee is looking to spend as little time as possible in Paylocity as possible. I find that employees primarily go in to check their paychecks and to request time off.
Rippling and Paycor were close contenders when we evaluated a new tool, but ultimately, I feel confident we made the right choice in selecting Paylocity for our growing business. We had about 115 employees when we migrated, and we have 150+ today across 4 countries, and the tool continues to deliver.
