Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

Hoy Health uses Rippling to manage employee recruiting, onboarding, employee handbooks and documents, and the payroll process. The Company employs salaried and hourly employees in the US, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. The company required a good self-service portal for employees to maintain their personal information across multiple companies, geographical regions, and jurisdictions. Rippling made it really easy to implement its solution. Hoy Health has to comply with different laws regarding vacation accrual and leave licenses. Rippling allows the user to create as many vacations and leave policies as needed, and segregate employees by location, jurisdiction, position, department, or any other classification. We were able to comply with local laws and regulations in each location. Rippling also integrates with Oracle NetSuite. While in the previous payroll processing company the accounting journal entry had to be manually prepared to distribute expenses by department, Rippling provides an integration interface that only took 30 minutes to set up. In a startup company like Hoy Health, reporting requirements are frequent and diverse. From payroll estimates to what-if scenarios. Rippling's reporting module allows the user to create and customize multiple reports without having to contact customer support.

Rippling's customer support is way better than ADP Workforce Now's customer support. Their response is faster, and issues are resolved. Rippling's reports are easier to configure and ready to be exported to MS Excel. The reports in ADP Workforce Now are, by default, exported in PDF. It can be exported to MS Excel but in a report format that requires manual effort to analyze. Rippling's accounting interface was set up in less than an hour. With ADP Workforce Now, we had four weekly meetings with a consultant, and still, the payroll journal report did not meet the requirements.
Rippling has a knowledge base that is easy to use, very intuitive, and well-organized. The articles are text integrated with animations that teach the user how to configure, set up, process or complete a task. If you are unable to find the exact topic, Rippling's chat function allows you to get in contact with a specialist very quickly. In one occasion, the local treasury department had incorrectly applied withholding deposits to the company's account and created a balance due that was incorrect. Rippling's customer support worked directly with the agency and kept following up on the matter until they correctly applied for all the payments. The issue was resolved without our company's involvement.

Rippling's intuitive design allows an organization to modify features and add functionality in a flexible and efficient manner. With Rippling, the finance team was able to integrate different business requirements very quickly without the need to incur consultant fees. A startup is always changing in terms of organization, salaries, direct reporting, and departments. With Rippling we were implementing changes as quickly as they arose and while meeting other legal and regulatory reporting requirements.
Rippling is an excellent HR and Payroll application when the company has employees in multiple locations both in the US and internationally. The employees located in Mexico use the application to update their personal information, sign off on company documents, and track document signatures on manuals, handbooks, and training. The Company had multiple withholding scenarios in the US and Puerto Rico. Rippling was very helpful in implementing different withholding codes, which can be set up as post-tax or after-tax. These withholding codes are reported on the employee's paystub without any effort.
