Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

Tracking work hours for hourly employees, managing salary and benefits for full-time employees.

Pros

  • Great payroll management
  • Signing up for benefits is easy
  • Interface is simple and user friendly
  • Made the transition from a different payroll management platform very easy

Cons

  • Adding hours worked could be easier. Currently you cannot just input a number and must use a timecard format.
  • I'm not involved in this aspect of the company
Rippling has a more robust payroll management system, but Deel made it easier to handle and track payments as a contractor.
Rippling customer support is great in my limited use.

For salaried employees it works well. From a contractor perspective it's missing a few features that makes usability better. Namely, the ability to add hours with a simple number input instead of timecards, and tracking payments as a contractor could be fleshed out more.
Rippling is great for salaried employees who are also using the platform to manage benefits. It's a little more cumbersome for hourly employees who need to enter their hours worked each week as the format for doing so could be easier. That being said, I think it's still a great platform for both situations once you get used to it.
