Overall Satisfaction with SalesLoft

SalesLoft is primarily being used by the SDR team and the commercial account executive team. The business problem sales loft solves for Hootsuite is being able to put inbound demo requests in cadences and be able to dial out to customers. Being able to add notes, log calls, record calls, and have emails run int he background is huge for us!

Pros

  • SalesLoft integrates with salesforce extremely well. You are able to easily send leads and contacts from Salesforce to SalesLoft.
  • SalesLoft is great for organizing notes, interactions, call logs and recordings for leads and contacts.
  • SalesLoft is really helpful for putting leads into cadences so that emails run in background without having to even think.

Cons

  • SalesLoft at times can be a bit glitchy, after putting leads/contact into cadences it at times will fail or have an error.
  • The email tracking will sometimes give you false alerts if you or some you forwarded open the email yourself which can lead to confusion.
  • Does not integrate with Hubspot very well.
  • SalesLoft saves our commerical account executives tons of time with the automated cadences.
  • SalesLoft helps us organize all of our leads into one source of truth which is incredibly important when there are 30+ salespeople using it.
  • SalesLoft gives us an all in one dialer, CRM, and email automation. Huge for our day to day work.
SalesLoft like any other software can go down at times, but they do have a fairly quick SLA and if the platform is ever down its usually back working within no time, we also had the SalesLoft rep come into our office, meet every single rep, and train us on the platform. They were very knowledgable on the platform, our struggles, and were extremely personable.
We have an integration with Salesforce and Salesloft and it is extremely easy to send leads or send contacts directly from salesforce right into SalesLoft. In the Salesforce dashboard, you can easily import with the click of a button and we have not any issues with leads or contacts not importing.
When it comes to email automation and dialing software a lot of the products could do the same things. They had slight alterations and functionality but the main core was basically identical. Saleloft's sales process, price point, and customer service were the main reason our company decided to go with Salesloft.
Salesloft is well suited for sales organizations with medium to large teams as SalesLoft is the best fit for high volume teams because the more you need to reach out to new prospects, the more cold calling your team does - and the more organized you need to be!
