Overall Satisfaction with Salesloft

Our inside sales department uses [SalesLoft] to help us keep track of multiple sales cycles. We use it for everything from handling local inbound sales leads to closing strategic nationwide partnerships.

Pros

  • Integration with all of our major tools: SalesForce, LinkedIn, Vidyard
  • Contact profiles are set up very intuitively, I like the ability to see all the activities related to a person or account on a single page.
  • Conversation intelligence is a game changer and the ability to tag a co-worker in these recordings to review and collaborate is perfect for remote work
  • Deals feature is very useful for keeping track of pipeline as well as conducting and logging activities to move deals forward.
  • Setting individual Weekly/Monthly goals for reps makes tracking productivity a breeze.

Cons

  • For my usage there is not much that I would change
  • HUGE ROI, my team could not do their job nearly as effectively without SalesLoft
Absolutely, our Sucess manager Sean has been extremely helpful and has never not been able to assist with something in a timely fashion. I also like the weekly office hours if I ever need to pop on for some live 1 on 1 time with a tactical issue
I have not tried any but when making our buying decision we did review Xant, HighVelocity Sales, and a few others.

SalesLoft is perfect if you or your team is managing communication for multiple contacts at once, cadencing makes sure that you never forget what your next step is or when you need to reach out. It is also good to build best practices due to the ability to A/B test variants within a cadence and see what is working better.

Using Salesloft

21 - All Users are in Sales or are Sales Managers/Directors
2 - These people assist with integration and maintenance, though it has been some time since they have had to do anything. SalesLoft is sort of on Auto Piolt now

  • Sales Blitz - We have a monthly sales blitz where we award prizes for most meetings booked, most calls dialed, and most emails sent in a 3 hour window. We use SalesLoft reporting Dashboards to track all activities and identify winners
  • We may be able to roll this out to additional teams so they can share in our success of staying organized and automating sales processes.
SalesLoft is absolutely VITAL to our daily operations. We could not function without it or a program like it. Speaking as a Sales Person who has had to operate without a product like this, the difference is night and day. The ability to stay organized, automate tasks, easily log activities and notes, review calls, and coach team members is an absolute gamechanger.

Evaluating Salesloft and Competitors

From my understanding the most important was its ability to integrate with SalesForce. When we purchased SL, our organization had recently invested a lot of time and money into SalesForce and it was important that we had a software that could support and build off of that initiative.
If we had to do it again we would still likely choose SalesLoft but we would have a few additional questions to ask when evaluating, things like spending more time learning what each of the automation functions do in cadences or ask best practices on integrating calendars and meeting links

Salesloft Training

We had some virtual training with our CSM which was very well constructed. It took some time to get into the full swing of things but with a few weeks of hands on experience I was feeling confidant. The SL team was always available to answer questions or jump an a call to walk us through stuff. I also used the Customer Help Center for a few self guided learnings on how to use specific features related to reporting and team management.

I am unsure if we purchased premium support. We did have a dedicated CSM that held regular meetings with us through the first few years though I think we stopped those because we hit a plateau and those were no longer needed. Since then we have just reached out when we needed help on a specific topic or issue.

Yes - I don't use it a ton, but I do get notifications when people view or reply to my emails.

Salesloft Reliability

The scalability was pretty good, we started with 4 or 5 users on one team and scaled into 30+ members across 3 teams
The availability is pretty good, we do sometimes have errors or delays in syncing activities but nothing that has been too detrimental to our workflow.

Most recently we had an issue with Lofting through Outlook due to a change in security token that took a few weeks to resolve but it is fixed now.
Yes timely and easy to use. The only delays we have are when we run our big month sales blitz and activities take some time to sync to the reporting as well as SalesForce

Integrating Salesloft

Salesforce is a full integration, dual sync for opportunities, activities and contacts. I was not involved in the integration so I cant speak on the difficulty.
i did not have a hand in the integration process so I am leaving it neutral. I like the integration that it supports but can not speak to how easy it was to set up

Relationship with SalesLoft

The Sales Team was very informative when we were in our buying cycle and made sure to answer all of our questions/concerns
CSM was very active with us, always available to ask questions or support our learning needs.
Was not involved with this part of the process.
