Functional, customizable, and doesn't get in my way - what more could you want?
Overall Satisfaction with Salesloft
I am responsible for confirming and rescheduling demos for our sales team. I use Salesloft to track who I need to reach out to, when they are meeting, and reviewing any relevant information about the prospect ahead of time.
Salesloft is also where the sales team records their demos and proposals, keeping everything in one place to stay organized.

Pros
- Cadences. I have used other software for predetermined outreach cadences, and none compare to the level of customization and automation Salesloft can provide.
- Insight. Whether I need to deep dive on a single prospect, or review conversations across the organization, I can find the information I need, and with a level of AI to parse the data for me, it makes it easy to find what I need about a lead journey.
- Multithreading. I can have several points of contact on an account, which are easily navigated from one lead to another, so if I have to include multiple parties on a call or deal, it's all readily available.
- Customization. I like that I can change what fields are shown on a lead/contact page, and change where the information is displayed. It's a little thing, but since everyone follows a slightly different flow, it's a very welcome choice.
Cons
- The inbound dialer. I don't particularly like having to open a second window just for inbound calls. Especially if I forget to close it during a meeting and get interrupted.
- The texting interface. I can have emails templated, to fill fields pulled from the lead profile, like name, company, positions, etc. I would like the same functionality for texting, especially since I send as many texts as I do emails. Even being able to save snippets or templates would be nice.
- On the note of texting, having a dedicated tab in the People view for text messages would do a lot to let me catch up on other people's conversations with the lead, instead of having to find them on the main Activity tab.
- I have been with a company that was using Salesloft, but moved to a competitor. I can't say it was exactly the competitors fault, as a lot of other internal changes were happening, (hence leaving the system that was working well), but we had the worst sales year in company history that year. Reps who consistently performed at or above quota were suddenly struggling to keep their pipelines in order, and the middle of the pack reps were going on PiPs and being let go.
- Is it the dialer, or the leadership? You decide.
- But the leadership also changed the dialer - so maybe it's both?
I have never needed to contact SalesLoft support, so that's a win in and of itself.
- Outreach and Revenue.io
"If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."
SalesLoft is my preference for my outreach efforts. Being able to review a lead entirely in Salesloft, even while pulling from Salesforce, but never having to leave - the others could learn a thing or two from that. Having to swap screens, or tabs even, is an efficiency killer.
