Overall Satisfaction with SAP Sales Cloud

We use SAP Sales Cloud as a data warehouse / Sales CRM. It solves the integration issue via our internal dashboard. It minimizes double-entry work for our sales reps while also automating certain vital sales team functions, such as forecasting through AI. It also allows our marketing team to upload content to our sales team easily.

Pros

  • Forecasting automation.
  • Reporting and Analysis.
  • Data warehousing for sales.

Cons

  • Integration with 3rd party apps.
  • Expensive for small businesses.
  • Slow load time for certain pages.
  • Low adoption from sales team, due to learning curve.
  • Clearer data management and data fidelity, understanding our ICP better.
  • New business won from identifying tangent businesses.
We use SAP Sales Cloud for our Sales CRM and data warehousing. This has allowed us to do a 360-degree review of our deals/customers, which has led to new business being won by identifying clients of a similar profile through their analytics. We have also been able to better market to different verticals of clients through the analysis done via the platform.
It's scalable because it's easy to onboard new reps onto the platform, set rules and templates to onboard new users, and guide them through the pertinent parts of the platform. However, given that our team is quite data-heavy with Southeast Asian teams, the platform does not work as well due to our having nuances in every country, making it hard for the platform to be set up in a market-agnostic manner.
SAP Sales Cloud vs. HubSpot = HubSpot is better out of the box, cheaper for smaller teams, and easier to maneuver without having to upgrade much in terms of cost to win more deals. SAP Sales Cloud is generally more expensive than other providers like HubSpot or Pipedrive, but it stacks up to be about the same vs. Salesforce, albeit both platforms need someone to constantly manage, maintain, and customize to fit the business needs.

Do you think SAP Sales Cloud delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with SAP Sales Cloud's feature set?

No

Did SAP Sales Cloud live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of SAP Sales Cloud go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy SAP Sales Cloud again?

No

For teams on the smaller side, I would not recommend SAP Sales Cloud as it is expensive for smaller teams and requires some customization for it to work for the business, which startups/smaller businesses typically do not have the time for. However, if you have time to dedicate personnel + time to customize it for your needs, it can work wonders for your marketing and sales teams.
