Overall Satisfaction with ScreenConnect
As the IT admin, I use ScreenConnect to access servers and workstations, both attended and unattended, without the need for a VPN. I have tried other remote access software but it does not always load all elements on the remote computer correctly. I never have an issue with ScreenConnect and I am able to quickly and efficiently access multiple remote devices
Pros
- Loads all elements of the screen correctly, not all remote software can do this
- See all my remote devices in one place
- Allow attended remote access for supporting end users
Cons
- There is a little learning curve but it is super easy once you get used to it
- ScreenConnect is a little pricy, but it works very well
- I can save time for the end user and provide support quickly
- I can access devices and fix issues without end users if set up and necessary
- I can see all the unattended devices in one place and access them from anywhere without the need for a VPN
Although ScreenConnect is more expensive than the competition, you get what you pay for. ScreenConnect is easy to use as an admin, and end user. It is easy to set up and configure, and it allows you to quickly view the status of devices and access them remotely from one dashboard
