Mailprotector is our first line of defense. Keeping spam and malicious emails from reaching the server is a top priority for us. Mailprotector allows us to route all inbound messages through their servers first and safely quarantine the spam and phishing messages. Customizable sensitivity settings and filtered email reports helps keep our end users happy while keep the unwanted messages out of their inboxes.

- URL and Attachment scanning needs improvement.
- Spam filtering is great, but our second layer of security catches several phishing messages that get through the scanners.
- Add additional knowledge-base articles that better explain how the sensitivity sliders work.
- Email gateway that serves as first layer of security.
- Removes the bulk of spam from user inboxes.
- Our costs are about 20% lower than competing solutions.
Mailprotector provides a guided installation that not only helps the administrator quickly deploy the solution, but it also provides a real-time update to let you know if any change was successfully applied. Our users prefer the interface and filtering reports over the competing products. Mailprotector has consistently done a better job of filtering spam than the other solutions we've tried.
