Overall Satisfaction with ScreenConnect

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use ScreenConnect as our backup remote access tool for both Macs and PCs. We also use it for clients that have not goine to a full MSP model as they do not charge per device. We use it to have backup remote access incase either of our primaryy RMM tools have a failure. This allows us to have continuity of support even in the event of a full vendor outage.

Cost has been generally low for us, but we are in a older grandfathered plan I believe
System has had good uptime and reliablity without much administrative responsibility.

Usability

It generally does not have any functional issues. but the interfaces is pretty dated and not necicarily the fastestes or cleanes layout. The buttons could be a little better labeled as well.

NinjaOne, Addigy, LogMeIn Central by GoTo, LogMeIn Rescue and N-able N-central

Very inexpensive for agent licences annual, no costs per device and no on-site hardware to maintain.

Likelihood to Recommend

Works well as a simple remote access tool. Not as fully featured as an RMM, but when it is just our backuup system it is easy to use, and maintain since we have Connecwise host it. Also works reasonably well in a "rescue" scenario as they have a fairly easy to to install the agent.

ScreenConnect - It's not too bad
