Overall Satisfaction with SendinBlue

I use SendinBlue to deliver all my newsletters for my media entertainment platform Dragon Blogger Technology, I send out 1-2 email newsletters per month and have been using the service for about 2 years. The services have flexible email templates, great analytics for showcasing the results of emails including a heat map showing where in your newsletter users are clicking.
  • Flexible Email Templates
  • Dedicated IP with DKIM Support
  • Campaign Analytics
  • Very Competitive Pricing
  • Image Inserts Via HTML Source Code Inconsistent
  • RSS to Email Offering
  • No Direct Social Media Integration
  • Lowered Financial Cost for Email Marketing
  • Increased Traffic and CTR Rates for Website
  • Increased Product Sales and Income
SendinBlue is more affordable and has nearly the same amount of features when using it just for email/SMS marketing including triggers, analytics, custom templates and more. SendinBlue does not yet have an RSS to Email offerings like AWeber, or a direct broadcast of the newsletter to social media like some other email providers, but they do host their email in an online newsletter and you can direct share that links manually to work around that. SendinBlue also offers a better free tier than nearly all competitors giving more emails per month in their free tier. Designing newsletters is very easy they have a fantastic template list and you can clone/replicate campaigns and just simply update for the new newsletter. They support image drag and drop for some formatting, though one feature isn't supported is being able to copy/paste raw HTML source with image HTML tags and when switching to visual editor it can lose the images.
If you send emails or SMS messages to client lists, especially newsletters then I prefer SendinBlue to many other competitors as their pricing was simply better for the value. If you need RSS to Email where your Blog RSS Feed auto delivers to email subscribers then this service is not a fit as this feature is not supported. This service also doesn't have features to auto notify/send out an online newsletter to social media.

Evaluating SendinBlue and Competitors

Yes - I replaced SimplyCast with SendinBlue because it was a better value in price and features for the number of contacts I had on my mailing list. SimplyCast had more features but not ones that I used often enough to justify the higher cost per email/contact by comparison. SendInBlue also offered better campaign analysis in my opinion and better contact/list filtering at the time, though the last time I looked at SimplyCast was 2014 it may have those features updated.
  • Price
  • Product Features
Price for free tier plan and the smaller tier plans was the single biggest deciding factor in choosing SendinBlue and migrating away from SimplyCast.

SendinBlue Support

These people helped me identify errors when setting up DKIM and were more than helpful in trying to diagnose low open rates with a few campaigns identifying where improvement can be made and how to more effectively manage contact lists. The support is excellent.

No - The support I get with my plan is sufficient for my needs even with a 24-hour turnaround.
Yes - HTML Source that includes images when you click back to visual mode editor the images are lost, but stay if you don't leave HTML source mode.
When my email had low bounce rates when I switched web hosting providers, I forgot to properly update the DKIM to my new hosting provider information and DNS info. SendInBlue helped find the issue and helped make sure I knew exactly what MX and other DNS Zone records were needed to get this all configured properly.
