Overall Satisfaction with Skype for Business (formerly Lync)

It is being used by the entire organization, both domestic and internationally.
  • It integrates with our phone system.
  • Searching and dialing outbound is very streamlined.
  • User-friendly.
  • Depending on your wifi, Skype can be difficult to log into.
  • We've seen dropped calls if the company has a rolling IPO address.
  • Positive -- it keeps everyone connected.
We're currently using Lifesize, however, I like the versatility of Skype and being able to directly set up meetings within Outlook, as well as the integration with the phone network to make outgoing calls directly within the Skype environment.
I don't believe we had ever lost connectivity.
