Overall Satisfaction with Slack

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Outside from emailing, Slack is the main way our employees communicate with one another. Without Slack, internal communication would come to a complete halt. No one would be able to talk to one another. Being able to connect Slack to JIRA, GDrive, and other security platforms supports global collaboration and helps us respond quickly to business needs.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Integration with external apps (e.g., Jira, Salesforce, Lattice, etc.)
Creating channels that foster group discussions with a targeted subject
Being able to talk and connect with folks outside our organization

Cons

I miss how Teams was directly integrated with Outlook calendar. I wish Slack could do something similar and do multiple reminders when a meeting was about to start
