We are using it only within the development team for communication.

Pros
- Quick Communication
- Keeping track on tasks
- Cross companies communication with x teams
Cons
- Integrations - its a bit of a alien inside our org only used by the dev team
- I use it only because ei need to stay in touch with the dev team - I would prefer other communication channels
- I don't think it has any business impacts its a basic tool that can be replaced
Slack has a big fan community by developers - its a very geeky tool. I don't think it has any big benefits
